The municipality of Sa Pobla is located in the northeast area of ​​Mallorca occupying an area of ​​about 48 square kilometers. It’s a city full of history, architecture and traditional culture of the Balearic Islands.

Plaza Major

A place of remarkable dimensions, reformed in the year 1877. On Sundays you can find one of the popular open markets of Mallorca.

Parish Church of Sant Antoni Abat

This church of basilical ground plan began to be built in 1696 on an already existing church from 1366. 

Can Planes Museum

It’s currently the headquarters of the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Toy Museum. But before it was the old house of Can Planes, built in the late nineteenth century, which belonged to the Planes family until 1972, then the building was acquired by the town hall and converted into a museum.

Can Llaveta

It’s a large and slightly isolated building that occupies the entire block, has gardens and outdoor terraces at different levels. It was built in stone and has a strong structure of high quality. It worked as a clinic from the 1950s to the 1970s.

Town hall

A building constructed as consistorial house according to a project of the architect Joan Sureda Villalonga. It was officially opened in the year 1822.
